Relationship Intelligence: The Secret Weapon in Your Inbox

Everyone talks about “Big Data,” but most companies’ most valuable data sets are sitting neglected on their email servers. How can you take advantage of all this data to make smarter decisions about your professional relationships? We’ll explore the signals hidden in plain sight in your inbox, from the people you interact with most to their personal contact preferences. Defective by Design – How the Internet’s Openness is Slowly Poisoning Us All

Lack of admission control of packets, email messages, blog comments; customer premise equipment full of old bugs and vulnerabilities, and completely non-upgradeable and non-patchable; too much buffer memory in too many devices; non-visionary middle-boxes that keep us from introducing new features and new protocols; an economic model that favors the boldest developers with the thinnest margins. On the one hand it’s a wonder the Internet works at all; on the other hand there may be some things we can do to improve the Internet by making it less open.
